As an artist and designer I felt the need to create a company that would allow me to present products to the market place which reflect my personal approach to design. After receiving a BFA in printmaking and spending many years working in various media, designing items from textiles to large scale folding screens I found myself designing residential interiors. Designing interiors is a profession that I continue to enjoy but I also found the need to work in a smaller scale. The "everyday beauty" that is associated with marrabella reflects the idea that in all we do and in everything we surround ourselves with there is an opportunity to experience beauty. Whether it be a simple bookmark or a paper nametag on your guest's glass, there is an opportunity to let the eye rest on something delightful. I believe that these simple pleasures should not come at great cost to you, that is why at marrabella we are committed to everyday beauty as an affordable luxury! Even the packaging reflects this!
